God in a Box(1999) Review things outside the skin: God in a Box This self released CDR is an interesting collage of distorted vocals, dubs, and at times experimental Industrial noise. The keyboard work is simple but well done and adds a nice flavor to most of the songs on this album. The subtle hip-hop influence on a few of the songs, such as "God In A Box" and "Eve of Separation" was also an interesting touch. "Ginger's Lament" was a particularly infectious track, and the last one almost blew my speakers, consisting of noise terrorism superimposed upon droning, evil carnie music. |
